Greetings and welcome! Thank you for visiting the Filipino-American Association of Wisconsin (FAAWIS) website.

This website will provide you information regarding our social calendar for the year as well as an update of the latest happenings in and around our community.

FAAWIS is a non-profit organization whose purpose among others, is to preserve the Filipino culture and tradition; provide a source unity and to represent the Philippines as its goodwill ambassador in this part of the country.   

I am happy to share with you that the Filipinos over the years, continue to provide assistance to the needs of Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Foremost in our contribution is the “Free Medical Clinic” that our doctors provide for the needy. Other Filipinos specializing in other fields like engineering, nursing, computers, manpower, etc. have provided Milwaukee the professionalism and skill as shown by each member of the association.

FAAWIS is a family, a “large family” consists of not only Filipinos but also those who are into inter-racial marriages, friends and associates. We strive to maintain peace, harmony and above all respect to all its members.
